The 080 catwalk is the best way to internationalize the catalan fashion. It
is for this reason that the number of fashion shows has increased this year,
coming to a total of 34. In the five days that this event last, the new
clothing ideas for the winter season 2014/2015 will be shown.
In the space of the Open Area,
for the second time this year anyone who’s interested in fashion will be able
to go and live the fashion week’s environment. The zone will be opened to all
publics.
Mango will be the Catalan
brand which will open the catwalk, with models known around the world as
Alessandra Ambrosio, John Kortajarena or Andrés Valencoso.
On Tuesday, the fashion shows
will start with Krizia Robustella and Selim Somavilla, which will be followed
by Natalie Capell, Manuel Bolaño, Brain & Beast and TCN. The day will end
with the popular and colorful Desigual.
On Wednesday, the catwalks
will start with two children clothing brands: Bóboli and Cóndor. Aldo Martins,
Lebor Gabala, Txell Miras, Celia Vela, Josep Abril and Miriam Ponsa will be
next, leaving the international brand Custo Barcelona be the one to say goodbye
to this day.
During Thursday and Wednesday the new talents for whom the 080 Barcelona makes a huge bet will show
their creations. During this two days, Georgina Vendrell, Manuel Cruzcastillo,
Naulover, Albéniz, Escorpion, Zazo&Brull, Martínez Lierah, Justicia Ruano,
Yerse, Oscarleon, Ssic and Paul, Torras, Punto Blanco and Slazenger.
The last show will count with
the presence of the exclusive Cuban designer Isabel Toledo, who has designed
costumes for Michelle Obama. Toledo will be the responsible to close the list
of designers who will present their ideas during this week.
The 080 Barcelona Fashion will
close with the delivery of the award for the best clothing collection presented
in the Catalan catwalk.
